- Created by the German sculptor Johann Wilhelm Beyer around 1773–1780 as part of the grand sculptural program in the Great Parterre.
- Carved from white Sterzing marble (Sterzing marble / Italian-region marble varieties used for the historic garden figures).
- Features the classical Greek figure Aspasia styled with armor, a plumed helmet, and rich draped robes, blending historical and mythological motifs.
