• This head of Athena is made of terracotta.
• The numerous fragments found together let us suppose that this fragment was part of an offering that contained several characters.
• A florid diadem crowns the snails carefully arranged in the forehead.
• Splendid work from the end of the archaic period.
• She was helmeted and carried shield and aegis.
• Apparently from a votive group including a fight, perhaps a Hercules adventure, of which some scraps survive.
